Description
English: Barry Salerno, center, assistant area director for the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Peoria Area Office, and Diana Lopez, right, compliance officer, talk with Curt Litwiller, outside his damaged home in Washington, Ill., about safety precautions to take for prevention of personal injuries during clean-up efforts. Washington was struck by an EF-4 tornado on Sunday, Nov. 17. “I believe OSHA has a very important role in helping our local community in recovering and rebuilding safely,” Salerno said.
