Português: Portuguese: Gêneros de nomes de países em língua portuguesa, marcados como verde (masculino), violeta (feminino) e amarelo (neutro, sem adjetivos precedentes) e "pl." para indicar os que têm forma natural do nome no plural. Nota: aqui o Reino Unido, incluindo ao País de Gales, está no feminino por causa de seu nome popular errôneo — Inglaterra.
English: The gender of countries in the Portuguese language: countries with masculine names are green, countries with feminine names are purple and countries with neutral names are yellow. "pl." indicates a plural name. Note: Reino Unido, United Kingdom is deemed as Inglaterra, England, as it is popularly called in Brazil, including País de Gales, or Wales, and both are of masculine names.
